  15. It's a small program that produces random gibberish... erm, conspiracies.
  16. That's it.
  17. Honest.
  18. There is no hidden agenda.

  23. So. How does it work?

  25. Simple.
  26. enter the command:

  28. ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: <volume>:<text_files_directory>

  30. e.g if the volume (disk) is called foo and the text files are in the
  31. directory, text, in the top level of the foo disk
  32. then the command is:

  34. ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: foo:text
  35.  
  36. Type CONSPIRACY on the CLI or double click the CONSPIRACY icon.

  56. The idea is to create the biggest, most unmanageable files possible.

  73. So. Who did you rip most of the code from then?

  75. The original idea for this came from a fortune program
  76. written by S.Hawtin on the NORTHC examples disk
  77. and the conspiracy theory generator in the summer
  78. 1996 edition of Alien Encounters(tm) magazine.

  80. It's compiled using NORTHC.

  82. Suggestion : Try sticking the output through jive or valspeak, it makes
  83.              the output almost worth reading...
  84.              You can get both these progs. (by Adams Douglas) from
  85.              aminet (text/misc).
